This is particularly problematic since burnout can increase the probability of medical mistakes and decrease the quality of patient care. This study was conducted in Baku, Azerbaijan, and used a descriptive study design to investigate the situation among residents in obstetrics and gynecology. The Maslach Burnout Inventory Human Service Survey (MBI-HSS) was used as the basis for the data collection method employed in this study. Software IBM SPSS version 22.0 was used to analyze the data.
